What is your mission?

We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Accountant to handle financial reporting, bank reconciliations, cash management, and fixed asset accounting for a portfolio of real estate properties. You will prepare journal entries, monthly reporting packages, and ensure accuracy across the general ledger and subledgers. This role is ideal for someone experienced in property accounting, NetSuite, and month-end close processes.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Build reporting infrastructure using NetSuite (ERP).
  • Manage investor contributions and distributions.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and complete monthly sign-offs.
  • Prepare journal entries and accruals for the general ledger.
  • Record all daily cash activity and ensure movements follow ownership structures.
  • Perform monthly account analysis for multiple entities.
  • Complete and review subledger reconciliations.
  • Maintain the fixed asset system (additions, retirements, adjustments).
  • Prepare fixed asset rollforwards.
  • Post monthly debt service payments and reconcile loan activity.
  • Review and distribute A/R aging reports.
  • Execute reporting package checklist procedures.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages and review variance reports.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the Director of Accounting.
Who are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Accountant (preferably in property or real estate accounting).
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP (highly preferred).
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
