Job summary:

Responsible for the supervision of compliance to purchasing systems, procedure and control of purchase of goods and services such as office suppliers equipments, uniforms, rice benefits, hardware, medicine, laboratory testing (air, water, chemicals), calibration of weighing scales, car- repair and maintenance, Aircon repair and maintenance promotional items, lumber for crating, pest control, cooperative supply of labor and other services, tolling for painting/GI and service contracts.

Supervises and coordinates central purchasing activities such as sourcing, market research, supplier evaluation/accreditation, supplier relationship development, and continuous improvement.

Interacts with various internal customers and negotiates with external supplier's/service providers and ensures satisfaction of the requisition's needs at the right quality, right quantity, delivered at the right time and at the lowest possible cost.

Supervises the handling and storage of all deliveries at the Makati Head Office to ensure high quality items are received and issued to the right requisitioners.

Coordinates with various departments for smooth functioning of departmental activity.

Qualifications:

Work Experience:

  • Knowledge at least 5year technical purchasing and sourcing experience with extensive leadership

Education:

  • At least graduate of any Engineering course (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial or equivalent) from reputable school. License Engineer is desirable.

Other Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Exposure to various ERP/MRP and IT systems, computer literate
  • Extensive project management experience
  • At least 3-5 years' supervisory experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skill in English are required
  • Good commercial and technical negotiation skills
  • Considerable experience in international and local purchasing, strategic sourcing, and team management
  • Ability to comprehend technical specifications, and proper supplier accreditation /evaluation.
  • Exposure in contract management and service agreements
  • Good analytical skills and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
