Job Title: Purchasing Supervisor

Supervises: Purchasing Officers and Assistants

Job Purpose

Direct procurement activities, maintain stock availability, enforce company policies, and lead the purchasing team to meet operational requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities

I. Procurement Oversight

  • Approve and validate purchase orders for accuracy and compliance.
  • Address and resolve supplier and delivery issues.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of procurement activities.

II. Inventory Monitoring

  • Track stock levels and initiate orders to prevent shortages.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for inventory adjustments.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

III. Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and address performance issues.
  • Expedite urgent orders and troubleshoot delivery delays.

IV. Team Leadership

  • Assign responsibilities and monitor progress.
  • Train and provide feedback to team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement improvements.

V. Policy Implementation

  • Verify compliance with procurement standards.
  • Develop and apply process improvements to optimize operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of supervisory experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Skills: Leadership, data analysis, decision-making, supplier negotiation, ERP tools, and Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
