Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing of purchase requisitions for buying materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies for the cluster/ property on a timely basis
  • Coordinates with user departments on the required specifications of purchase
  • Engage in souring of suppliers for the purchases
  • Engage in evaluation of suppliers' quotations / bids and negotiation / interview with the suppliers, to maximize the opportunities presented by the suppliers
  • Prepare the proposal of award for management approval
  • Execute the purchase orders and ensure that all purchases are duly supported and properly documented
  • Ensure that purchase orders are properly approved by the authorized personnel
  • Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure that suppliers comply with the terms and conditions of the contract
  • Coordinate with user departments and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action plan
  • Maintain contract listing and review outstanding purchase orders of the cluster/ property
  • Ensure that procurement policies and procedures are adhered to
