Job Summary
The Procurement Supervisor at Dermorepubliq is responsible for overseeing day-to-day purchasing operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement of goods and services across the companys skincare manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in optimizing the procurement process by managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, tracking market trends, and enforcing company policies for ethical sourcing and cost efficiency. The Procurement Supervisor will also collaborate closely with departments such as Production, R&D, Facilities, and Finance to support strategic purchasing decisions and maintain inventory levels aligned with operational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement Operations
- Supervise the end-to-end procurement cycle, including requisition processing, sourcing, purchase order issuance, delivery tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
- Maintain and manage approved vendor lists, ensuring compliance with quality and ethical standards.
- Monitor purchase requisitions and ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials, supplies, and services.
- Ensure accuracy of procurement documentation and adherence to internal controls.
Vendor Management & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers and service providers in alignment with company needs.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and service agreements.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to monitor performance and compliance.
- Coordinate with QA and R&D teams to ensure supplier-sourced materials meet quality standards.
Cost Control & Budget Alignment
- Monitor procurement spending and identify opportunities for cost savings through consolidated purchasing or negotiation.
- Analyze price trends and market conditions to forecast procurement costs.
- Support the Procurement Manager in developing cost-reduction strategies and aligning with budget targets.
Inventory & Materials Coordination
- Work closely with Inventory Control and Production to monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Assist in the planning and procurement of raw materials based on production schedules.
- Monitor lead times and ensure optimal safety stock levels.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, ethical standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all procurement activities, contracts, and vendor communications.
- Support internal and external audits as needed.
Team Supervision & Collaboration
- Supervise procurement staff and provide guidance on day-to-day activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Manufacturing, QA, and R&D to support company objectives.
- Facilitate training and development for junior procurement personnel.
Qualification And Requirements
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Prior experience supervising or leading procurement staff is highly desirable.
- Background in the skincare, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics industry is an advantage.
- Proven experience in importation and international sourcing of raw materials, packaging, or components, preferably within FMCG, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or personal care manufacturing.
- Strong background in supplier strategy development, contract negotiation, cost management, and compliance with customs and trade regulations.
- Experience in collaborating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and compliant material importation.

- Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

- Hybrid work setup across Dermorepubliqs sites in Eastwood, Quezon City, and Mayamot, Antipolo.

- Must be available to address time-sensitive procurement concerns or urgent deliveries.
