The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Korean restaurant, ensuring high-quality food, excellent customer service, and efficient business performance. This role involves managing staff, maintaining standards of food preparation and presentation, and ensuring a smooth and profitable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Oversee food preparation and service to ensure authenticity and quality of Korean cuisine.
  • Manage restaurant staff — including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels, food costs, and supplies; coordinate with suppliers for quality ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing or promotional activities.
  • Prepare sales reports, budgets, and operational summaries for management.
  • Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized dining environment.
  • Ensure excellent coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager, preferably in a Korean or Asian restaurant.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Korean cuisine, culture, and dining service standards is an advantage.
  • Proficient in POS systems and basic financial reporting.
  • Customer-focused, with the ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
