Job Summary

The Corporate Sales Strategist will lead the creation, development, and implementation of a robust sales channel strategy for the company's telecommunication products and services. This role involves analyzing market trends, identifying new sales opportunities, designing innovative sales channels, and collaborating across departments to drive sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales channel strategy specific to the telco industry, targeting corporate and enterprise clients.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape to identify new sales channel opportunities.
  • Design innovative and efficient sales channels, including direct sales, partner networks, digital channels, and indirect sales routes.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets for all channel partners and internal sales teams.
  • Lead the selection, onboarding, and management of channel partners and distributors to maximize reach and sales efficiency.
  • Create training programs and sales enablement materials to empower sales teams and channel partners.
  • Monitor sales performance, conduct gap analyses, and recommend strategic adjustments to optimize channel effectiveness.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance customer experience across all sales touchpoints.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
  • Keep abreast of telecom industry developments, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting sales channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales strategy development, preferably in the telco or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of telecom products, services, and the competitive landscape.
  • Experience in developing multi-channel sales strategies including digital and partner channels.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in sales analytics tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office suite.
