About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Design Clerk to support our Electrical and Electronics Design Team. The role involves preparing, organizing, and reviewing technical documents, submittals, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate documentation and coordinate effectively across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update electrical/electronics design drawings, layouts, and documentation using AutoCAD.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and hard copy) and ensure document version control.
  • Prepare, log, and track submittals such as material data sheets, shop drawings, as-built plans, and O&M manuals.
  • Assess and review submittals and construction documents based on available design drawings, specifications, and reference materials to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify that materials, equipment, and drawings conform with approved data and design intent.
  • Review IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and contractor submittals for consistency and completeness.
  • Assist in documenting RFIs, clarifications, and design revisions.
  • Prepare bills of materials (BOMs), transmittals, and other design-related reports.
  • Handle printing, scanning, formatting, and filing of drawings and technical documents.
  • Ensure all documentation follows company QA/QC and ISO procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering Technology; Drafting Technology; or related technical course.
  • Experience:
  • 1–2 years in design consultancy or engineering (preferably electrical/electronics).
  • Experience in submittal preparation, review, and document control is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit an advantage).
  • Strong MS Office and document management skills.
  • Knowledge of PEC, IEC, and NFPA standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical specifications.
  • Soft Skills:
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Good communication, organization, and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php23,000.00 per month
