About the role

Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team in our Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila location. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our industrial cold storage facilities. As the Facilities Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our critical infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee a team of technicians and maintenance staff to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure
  2. Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
  3. Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules and procedures to extend the lifespan of critical assets
  4. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialised maintenance and repair work
  5. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, asset conditions, and work orders
  6. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within facility operations
  7. Ensure the facilities operate in compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Facilities Supervisor or Manager, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  2. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
  3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
  5. Strong leadership and team management capabilities to effectively coordinate the maintenance crew
  6. Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  7. Working knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  8. Relevant certifications or licenses in facilities management or a related technical field would be an advantage
