Antipolo City, Calabarzon, Philippines Iceberg Plant and Cold Storage Inc. Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Operate, monitor, and maintain the refrigeration system of Iceberg Plant and Cold Storage facility ensuring that it is reliable and working properly and efficiently.

Duties

1. Monitoring of refrigeration system parameters

  • Setting of compressors, condensers, expansion valves, and controls of refrigeration system as per parameters set by management.
  • Ensuring that set room temperature of the cold rooms are met through proper calibration of controls and appurtenances.

2. Monitoring of refrigeration system parameters

  • Responsible in logging parameters needed and as mandated by management.
  • Responsible for monitoring the system parameters, system accessory states, and reporting on deviations.
  • Timely submission and communication of reports especially on non conformances.

3. Maintenance of refrigeration system and its components

  • Key personnel to replace or clean consumable parts of refrigeration system including (but not limited to: compressor oil, system filters, condensing unit sprinkler heads, system breakers, etc.) conforming to the manual and practices as set by the supplier and/or management.
  • Proper preparation of equipment prior service maintenance ensuring that equipment is properly disengaged prior servicing.
  • In the event of 3rd party engagement for system maintenance, the refrigeration operators will function as support.

4. YOMCI Facility repair and maintenance

  • Performs YOMCI store walk in freezer repair from time to time.
  • Performs walk in freezer preventive maintenance and other work for the store.

5. Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs other tasks necessary in the fulfillment of the department's mandate and facility well being.
  • Ensure good technical practices in work execution.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.
  • Complies with the Company's Quality Management System.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of 2 year vocational course for refrigeration and related courses
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience
  • Working knowledge in refrigeration system operations, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Working knowledge in electrical system
  • Amenable for any departmental organization changes
  • Amenable to be deployed to other areas of Luzon for store repair
  • Willing to work with a shifting schedule
  • Good proficiency on written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Has keen senses to see procedural concerns and pitch in solutions
