Sales Associate Job Description (7-Eleven)

Position Overview:

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring shelves are fully stocked. This role supports smooth daily operations and creates a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Operate cash registers, process payments, and issue receipts.
  • Restock shelves, displays, and refrigerators to ensure product availability.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including checkout and storage areas.
  • Monitor product freshness, expiration dates, and assist in inventory control.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally.
  • Support in receiving and organizing deliveries.
  • Follow safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not required.
  • Basic math and communication skills.
  • Friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
