The Training and Development Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, and delivering training and capability-building programs for cooperatives and partner organizations. The role ensures high-quality training delivery, compliance with MCN requirements, and effective management of consultancy and capability-building engagements. The specialist also supports income generation through training fees, consultancy services, and management fees while maintaining excellent client and participant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Program Development & Management

  • Develop Yearly Training Calendar.
  • Develop, update, and enhance training modules, materials, and capability-building programs.
  • Prepare and implement the Yearly Training Calendar aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct FOCCUS-mandated trainings and other capability-building programs.
  • Ensure the renewal and compliance of the MCN Certificate of Training Provider (every 5 years).
  • Prepare and submit Monthly Training Reports for CISP.
  • Engage and evaluate new consultants/trainers to support program delivery.
  • Keep an updated list of cooperative contacts for marketing and coordination.

2. Training Delivery & Evaluation

  • Facilitate and conduct training sessions, and capability-building activities for cooperatives.
  • Monitor training attendance, effectiveness, and participant experience.
  • Achieve an 80% average participant satisfaction rating across all trainings.

3. Consultancy & Advisory Services

  • Support and coordinate consultancy services, including strategic planning, annual planning, and policy-formulation engagements.
  • Ensure 80% satisfaction rating for consultancy clients.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of consultancy projects based on approved work plans and deliverables.
  • Grow engagement with new participating cooperatives for consultancy and training services.

4. Income Generation & Financial Compliance

  • Contribute to revenue generation through training fees, registration fees, and management fees.
  • Support the generation of income for consultancy management services.
  • Track and monitor service income from training and consultancy engagements.
  • Ensure Zero Cash Advance balance at year-end, following financial policies.

5. Coordination, Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate at least two (2) EdCom Meetings annually, including documentation and follow-through actions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cooperatives, trainers, consultants, and partners.

Support marketing and communication efforts to increase training participation and cooperative engagement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
