About the role

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of our road transport operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Immediate superior with day-to-day administrative tasks and record-keeping
  • Coordinate and schedule transportation of goods and materials to client locations
  • Monitor and maintain vehicle maintenance and service schedules
  • Liaise with drivers and clients to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures and safety protocols
  • Provide support for inventory management and stock control
  • Assist with the preparation of operational reports and performance metrics

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably in the road transport or logistics industry
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data management
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards an advantage
  • Problem-solving mindset and a keen attention to detail
