Job Title: Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic - A

Job Summary: The aircraft mechanic supervises maintenance, repair, launch, and recovery activities on aircraft. Ensures aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. He / She will sign off the release of aircraft for flight, perform maintenance, inspections, and servicing requirements by approved technical data and all applicable program and service guidance. Maintains and updates aircraft records, ensuring the maintenance team is informed of the aircraft's current status. Performs other tasks as directed by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervises and performs aircraft inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair on the aircraft fleet;
• Assisting with the establishment and maintenance of aircraft records as required by regulatory, manufacturers, and company policy;
• Participation in company-mandated functions, which include the safety committee and operational standardization;
• Assist in maintaining facilities, support equipment and fueling service equipment;
• Perform line services duties during the arrivals and departures of the aircraft fleet;
• Develops and maintains records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and any reports related to parts or services;
• Consults maintenance manuals and specifications to identify correct operations and specifications for replacements or repairs;
• Identifies and resolves mechanical issues through visual inspections or reports from the pilot or crew, by approved maintenance manuals
• Supervises and assists in installation of new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts or to enhance the performance of the aircraft; performs these tasks efficiently and to specifications;
• Performs regular maintenance on aircraft.
• Keep aircraft maintenance and repair logs; and
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.
