The F&B Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service quality and guest satisfaction across all outlets. This role leads, trains, and motivates F&B staff while maintaining service standards and operational efficiency. The F&B Manager manages budgeting, cost control, and revenue performance, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. The position also collaborates closely with the kitchen, management, and other departments to maintain smooth operations and drive improvements, menu development, and guest experience enhancements.

  • Oversees all food & beverage operations across outlets (restaurant, bar, banquets, room service)
  • Develops strategies to improve service quality, profitability, and guest satisfaction
  • Leads, trains, and mentors F&B Supervisors and service teams
  • Creates staff schedules and manages labor costs efficiently
  • Establishes and maintains service standards and operating procedures
  • Ensures full compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
  • Manages food and beverage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Analyzes sales reports, financial performance, and cost control metrics
  • Works closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure menu consistency and quality
  • Handles guest concerns, VIP arrangements, and special events
  • Develops promotions, menus, and service concepts with marketing and culinary teams
  • Conducts regular audits of cleanliness, service flow, and staff performance
  • Sets departmental goals and ensures they align with business targets
  • Prepares operational budgets and monitors expenses
  • Ensures proper staff training on service, product knowledge, and customer care
  • Leads pre-shift meetings, F&B meetings, and coordinates interdepartmentall

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Diploma or certification in Food & Beverage or Hospitality (acceptable with experience)
  • Food safety and sanitation certification (advantage)
  • Additional leadership or management training is a plus
