Role Overview

Achieve Without Borders, Inc. is seeking a Junior System and Network Administrator who will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's internal infrastructure. This includes managing servers, accounts, and security, while also assisting with network configuration and troubleshooting.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and IT security, along with a practical understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and connectivity. The role requires someone who can primarily focus on systems administration but is also confident in handling network-related tasks in a fast-moving environment.

Main Duties

Systems Administration (Core Focus)

  • Manage and administer Windows Server and Active Directory (domain join, GPO, user accounts, folder mapping).
  • Perform updates, patches, backups, and system security checks.
  • Oversee and support Microsoft Teams and Office 365 platforms.
  • Maintain data access policies and ensure system integrity.

Network Support (Secondary)

  • Assist with setup and troubleshooting of VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, UniFi switches/APs, and IP configurations.
  • Monitor ISP connections and overall network performance, escalating issues as needed.
  • Support adherence to network security best practices.

IT Support & Asset Management

  • Provide user support for desktops and laptops (installation, upgrades, troubleshooting).
  • Configure and support office equipment including printers, scanners, and multifunction devices.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for equipment repairs and replacements.
  • Help with deployment and proper care of IT assets.
  • Support and troubleshoot CCTV systems.
  • Address IT helpdesk requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in systems administration, IT support, and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of system updates, backups, and security.
  • Familiarity with networking (VLANs, VPNs, UniFi/Ubiquiti, firewalls).
  • Basic Linux knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware (PCs, laptops, peripherals).

  • Organized, proactive, and capable of working both independently and in a team.
  • Must be open to onsite work in San Juan City, Manila.
  • Available to start immediately.
