Key Responsibilities

Payroll

  • Collect, review, and verify timesheets from field employees and clients.
  • Process weekly payroll for temporary employees using payroll software.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour regulations.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate with recruiters and account managers to ensure accurate payroll data entry.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and related documentation.

Billing

  • Generate and send accurate client invoices based on approved timesheets and contracts.
  • Reconcile billable hours and ensure client rates and terms are correctly applied.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with collections when necessary.
  • Support month-end billing and payroll reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper posting of revenues and expenses.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in payroll, billing, or accounting (preferably in a staffing or service-based environment).
  • Proficiency with payroll and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, Bullhorn, or similar).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience in the staffing industry.
  • Knowledge of labor compliance regulations and timekeeping systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 9pm-6am

Work Location:

  • Homebased; must have strong internet at home; Equipment is provided.
