About the role

Join Golden Century Marketing as our new Accounting Manager based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and managing the accounting team to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the accounting team and oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  2. Ensure all accounting processes, controls, and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained
  3. Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights to support business decision-making
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  5. Develop and implement accounting best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support
  7. Mentor and develop the accounting team to build a high-performing, engaged workforce

What we're looking for

  1. 1+ years of experience in a management accounting role, preferably within the marketing or professional services industry
  2. Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and tools
  5. Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team
  6. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  7. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
