Data Reporting Analyst(Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python)

The consultant will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring and maintaining data quality within the system.

  2. Conducting root cause analysis on data inconsistencies and proposing corrective actions.

  3. Assisting in the development and refinement of performance reports.

  4. Collaborating with internal teams to align data practices with reporting requirements.

  5. Other ad-hoc and administrative tasks that are related to data management and reporting.

Detailed Tasks and/or Expected Output:

  1. Data Quality Maintenance

a. Regular audits of data entries and system records.

b. Identification and correction of data anomalies.

c. Documentation of data quality issues and resolutions.

  1. Root Cause Analysis

a. Investigation of recurring data inconsistencies.

b. Development of analytical frameworks to trace data issues.

c. Presentation of findings with actionable recommendations.

  1. Performance Reporting Support

a. Compilation and analysis of key performance indicators.

b. Design and update of dashboards and reports.

c. Validation of data used in reporting to ensure accuracy.

  1. Collaboration and Documentation

a. Coordination with relevant teams to gather data inputs.

b. Maintenance of logs and documentation for all data-related activities.

c. Contribution to process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.

  2. At least 5 years of experience in data analysis and data management.

  3. Proficiency in data analysis tools: a. Required: MS Excel, Power BI b. Preferably: SQL, Python, R

  4. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  5. Experience with enterprise data systems and reporting frameworks.

  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
