About the role

We're growing our analytics engineering capability at DataIQ. You'll design enterprise semantic models, craft DAX measures, and deliver beautiful, performant reports. You'll champion dataset certification, RLS/CLS, and deployment best practices in Microsoft Fabric + Power BI.

What you'll do

  • Design and publish reusable enterprise semantic models (tabular) that power multiple reports.
  • Build high‑quality DAX measures and optimised visuals; apply usability standards and accessibility.
  • Implement dataset certification, RLS/CLS security, endorsement and documentation.
  • Use deployment pipelines and Git to promote changes safely (Dev/Test/Prod).
  • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and tell compelling stories with data; enable power users.

What you'll bring

  • Strong Power BI experience (Desktop + Service) across modelling, DAX, and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Direct Lake vs Import, and incremental refresh.
  • SQL proficiency; fundamentals in dimensional modelling and star schemas.
  • Nice to have: basics in Spark/PySpark, KQL, Figma/UI skills, or Purview lineage.
  • Certification preferred: PL‑300 (Power BI Data Analyst).
