What are we looking for?
Skills Required
- MSP Experience & Multi-Client Management - Ability to handle multiple clients, shifting priorities, and escalations in a Managed Service Provider environment.
- Project Delivery & Leadership - Proven track record in delivering IT projects such as cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and security implementations.
- Strong Technical Expertise Across Platforms - Proficiency in Linux systems, networking (Ubiquiti/MikroTik), Windows Server, Microsoft 365 & Azure, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), and VoIP (3CX, SIP).
- Cyber Security & Best Practices - Hands-on experience with patching, MFA, endpoint protection, backup solutions, and applying security policies.
- Clear Client Communication & Stakeholder Management - Ability to communicate complex issues in simple, jargon-free language, while building trusted advisor relationships.
- Mentorship & Team Collaboration - Supporting junior engineers, knowledge-sharing, and contributing to process improvement.
- Documentation & Process Orientation - Strong skills in documenting systems, following structured processes, and contributing to continual improvement.
What will you do?
- Provide 3rd Line Technical Support - Take ownership of high-level tickets and resolve complex client issues and escalations.
- Lead Project Delivery - Plan, manage, and implement IT projects including cloud migrations, infrastructure builds, and security upgrades.
- Manage New Client Onboarding - Oversee technical onboarding to ensure smooth integration of new customers.
- Maintain & Improve Systems - Proactively review client environments and implement improvements for performance, reliability, and security.
- Apply Security Best Practices - Ensure security controls (patching, MFA, endpoint protection, backups) are applied and maintained.
- Act as Trusted Technical Advisor - Engage with clients directly, explain technical solutions clearly, and provide ongoing guidance.
- Collaborate & Mentor - Work with the internal team, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to process improvement.
