Position Title: Accounting Officer

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Setup: Onsite (Monday-Friday)

Location: Tower 1, Plaza Magellan, Mactan Newtown, Lapu-Lapu City

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, update, and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, official receipts, and other billing documents to clients.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on collections to ensure timely payments.
  • Track and record accounts payable, ensuring all obligations are settled on time.
  • Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial accounts regularly.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules as required by management.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and government requirements (BIR, SEC, etc.).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documents.
  • Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of accounting records and supporting documents.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software & MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
