Immediate Head: Senior Procurement Administrator

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or its equivalent with at least 1-3 years of procurement-related experience.
  • Experience in the ship management background from shared service and international business environment is an advantage.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Good communication skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Must be willing to work on a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all purchase requisition is acknowledged.
  • Monitors purchase requisitions for the Engine department.
  • Source out suppliers and gather quotations as per the vessel's Engine requisitions.
  • Makes or processes POs to the winning supplier/contractor based on the canvass sheet/quote with the lowest reasonable price and passes the standard quality requirement.
  • Forwards POs and other support documents, such as Delivery Receipts & Invoices, to the Accounting department for them to process payment and for their records.
  • Responsible for the accreditation and evaluation of suppliers.
  • Updates and monitors the supplier's performance annually.
  • Submits a Weekly Report for the Engine Outstanding requisitions status.
  • Conducts annual verification of the fleet assets.
  • Performs other assigned tasks as instructed by the Immediate Head.
