Marketing Coordinator

Role Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing and optimizing marketing strategies that focus on brand building, sales growth, and audience engagement. This role will involve collaborating with various teams, particularly the in-house content creator, to produce impactful content. The Marketing Coordinator will also be in charge of optimizing newsletters and Facebook Ads, expanding the brand's reach by tapping into content creators, and planning and organizing marketing photo shoots. You will be reporting directly to the Creative Director, ensuring that all efforts align with the overall brand vision and sales targets. Additionally, the role will involve coordinating with the sales team to gather customer insights and product movement data, allowing marketing efforts to be closely aligned with sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Planning for Brand Building & Sales:
Develop and execute a content calendar that balances brand-building activities with sales-driven initiatives. Ensure all content is aligned with brand identity and resonates with target audiences to drive both awareness and conversions.
- Community Management:
Act as the voice of Renegade Folk across social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others. Engage with customers through the comments section, respond to inquiries, manage feedback, and build strong relationships with our online community to enhance brand loyalty and trust.
- Optimizing Newsletters and Facebook Ads:
Lead the optimization of automated email campaigns and Facebook Ads to increase sales conversions. Analyze performance data to continually improve messaging, targeting, and design to maximize ROI and meet sales goals.
- Expanding Brand Reach through Content Creators:
Identify and collaborate with content creators, influencers, and KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) to expand Renegade Folk's reach. Develop partnerships to create engaging content that amplifies the brand and drives both engagement and sales.
- Collaborating with In-House Content Creator:
Work closely with the in-house content creator to ensure content aligns with engagement and sales targets. Help produce and coordinate content that's visually compelling, on-brand, and optimized for conversions.
- Marketing Photo Shoot Planning & Organization:
Plan, organize, and execute marketing photo shoots that elevate the visual identity of the brand. Ensure all shoots align with brand aesthetics and support marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
- Coordination with Sales Team for Insights:
Collaborate with the sales team to gather valuable customer insights and product movement data. Use this information to adjust marketing strategies, ensuring they are in line with product performance and sales targets, and to better understand customer behavior and preferences.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Content Engagement: Growth in engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares) across social media platforms.
- Sales Conversion Rate: Improvement in conversion rates from optimized newsletters and Facebook Ads.
- Community Satisfaction: Customer satisfaction ratings and engagement metrics from customer touchpoints.
- Influencer Campaign Performance: Engagement and sales impact from content creator and influencer collaborations.
- Photo Shoot Success: Quality and effectiveness of photo shoots in supporting marketing campaigns and brand image.
- Overall Brand Reach: Growth in audience reach, especially through collaborations with content creators.
- Sales and Product Alignment: Success in aligning marketing campaigns with sales goals based on customer and product insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within fashion, retail, or footwear.
- Experience in community management and customer engagement on social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, including Facebook Ads and email marketing platforms.
- Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns that drive both engagement and sales.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with creative teams (content creators, designers, etc.).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, especially in managing photo shoots and content creation.
- A creative and proactive approach to marketing, with a passion for the brand and its community.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with sales teams to gather actionable insights for marketing optimization.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with influencer marketing and building relationships with content creators.
- Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
- Understanding of eCommerce platforms and CRM tools.
- Bonus: Familiar with ASL.
