Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts routine malintenance on equipment and building systems. Performs quality checks on alr conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems. Performs tasks like drywall repair, roofing, plastering, and carpentry, electrical repairs.
  • Completes safety checks on systems and equipment, ensures all safety systems are functioning properly, including fire alarm, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in the computer room.
  • Checks and responds to security and safety issues. Tests and recommends new maintenance products. Keeps documents of inspections, problems encountered and solutions that worked.
  • Maintains the inside and outside premises. Ensures grounds and security maintenance like fencing and gates are in good working condition.
  • Performs inventory on the company's repair tools and machines, equipment, spare parts and the like. Keeps repair tools and supplies clean, organized and labelled on visual wall display. Follows all safety requirements and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment when needed.

Qualifications

  • College level or Vocational graduate in a related field
  • At least 1 year experience in facility maintenance
