JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Ensures that all BIR regulatory requirements are accomplished properly and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates with authorities, if required.
  • Advise immediate superior regarding tax implications in a proactive manner.
  • Files and pays quarterly tax returns. Submits pro-forma tax returns covering third quarter and Annual tax return as part of Tax planning 30 days after the end of the 2nd and 3rd quarter.
  • Handles BIR/Tax Assessment by preparing audit requirements. 

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP:
- Trains and coaches all employees under his/her jurisdiction in relation to technical enhancement, improvement in motivation, understanding of corporate goals and instructions, and others.
- Monitors over-all compliance of the team in relation to the Company's policies and procedures, including specific directions/instructions issued by the Management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree Course Major in Accounting / Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant is an advantage.

  • Minimum Job-Related Experience:

  • At least two (2) years of working specialized in Finance, Audit, Taxation or equivalent.

  • Proficient in accounting software applications.
  • Knowledge in tax rules and regulations, and general accounting.

  • Other Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Attitude, Competencies):

  • Problem solving ability.

  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate.
  • Above average Communication skills.
  • Honesty and with highest regard to integrity.
