About the role

As a Manpower Supervisor at Southern Arms Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's construction projects in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. This full-time position requires strong leadership skills, expertise in construction operations, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the work of a team of construction workers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely and on schedule
  2. Communicate with project managers and clients to provide updates on progress and address any concerns
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  4. Monitor and maintain the quality of work performed by construction teams
  5. Provide training and support to construction workers to enhance their skills and productivity
  6. Manage the allocation of resources, equipment, and materials to optimise project efficiency
  7. Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to resolve any technical issues that arise
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the construction projects

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Manpower Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role
  2. Thorough understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams
  4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
  5. Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry
  6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  8. Fluency in English and the local language(s) of the region
