Contracts Management Specialist

Role Overview
As a Contracts Management Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing a wide range of contract documents—including Customer Contracts, Terms and Conditions, Memoranda of Agreement, Service Agreements, and Vendor Contracts for third-party engagements. You will identify key contract features (expiry dates, NDAs, rate changes, special terms), manage a contract database, and provide actionable reports to the relevant CFT. Your work will help mitigate revenue leakages, disputes, and operational risks, while ensuring all original contract documents are securely stored and readily accessible for authorized internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and checks the content of the contract document(s) prior to sign-off by the client which form part of the Pre-Sales process: (1) if the Terms and Conditions are in accordance with the established standards per product (2) the special/salient features that requires close monitoring to avoid overpayment or that requires legal advice (Last mile info; Special built; with NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement); contract expiry dates; change in rates
- Coordinates with all cross-functional teams (i.e. Product, Sales, Finance, Submarine Cable Team) for input on the contract document(s) specifically any commercial and financial terms, and shall collate and endorse the final copy of the contract document(s) (with all inputs from the cross-functional teams) to the Legal team for finalization and stamping.
- Ensures that signatories to the contract for both the PLDT Group and Customer(s) are the authorized personnel to ensure validity of the contracting parties.
- Prepares and provides monthly report to Sales Team on contract expiration dates and other salient features i.e. Last mile info; with NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) and advises concerned personnel on any deviation and or forwards corresponding matters to Legal as deemed necessary
- Manages and maintains up-to-date records/database and custody of the contract document(s) to be provided monthly to the Sales Team
- Maintains contract templates (e.g. Terms and Conditions, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Managed Services Agreements) in coordination with the Legal team.
- Manages and automated notification system for contract milestones or thresholds (renewals, price increase, dates, and penalty avoidance)
- Coordinates with the Sales team on compliance by the PLDT Global Group of their contractual obligations with the respective partner/customer.
- Issues a monthly report on all new contracts submitted based on the information attached to the original contract document.
- Identifies and recommends improvements on existing practices and procedures to continuously upgrade performance results and render appropriate report to the Division Head
- Performs such other functions related to the foregoing as may be required by the Supervisor or the Division Head
Qualifications:
- At least 5-years experience in Telco industry specifically handling International Data Services e.g. IEPL, backhaul, colocation, IP Transit, IX Peering among others.
- A Business Administration degree holder or any Telco related field.
