Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring that vendor contracts are proactively optimized, consolidated and manage vendor performance evaluation, and ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations to support the organization's objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Renewals and Terminations

  2. Coordinate contract renewals, extensions, and terminations with the technical application owners.

  3. Identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements in vendor contracts.

  4. Cost Management

  5. Monitor and control costs associated with vendor contracts.

  6. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize vendor spend.

  7. Contract Management

  8. Monitor contracts and agreements with vendors, including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

  9. Ensure contracts align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

  10. Contract Compliance

  11. Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

  12. Conduct regular audits and assessments of vendor performance.

  13. Vendor Performance Evaluation

  14. Evaluate vendor performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics

  15. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors.

  16. Vendor Risk Management

  17. Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.

  18. Develop contingency plans for vendor-related disruptions.

Internal Relationships:

  • Finance Department: Collaborate on cost management and budgeting.
  • Procurement Department: Work together on vendor selection and contract negotiation.
  • Project Managers: Collaborate on project-based vendor management.
  • SIAM lead and specialist to support them on vendor services and ensure the SLAs are met

External Relationships:

  • Vendors: Manage relationships, contracts, performance, and risk.
  • Industry Associations: Stay updated on vendor management trends and best practices.

Education/Training Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Technology).

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in information technology, vendor management, or contract administration.
