Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team in AMTI. As a key player in our global support infrastructure, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to end-users, ensuring seamless IT operations, and contributing to the efficiency of the organization's technology systems.

Technical Support

  • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Support and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other authorized peripherals.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and remedial repairs on all IT equipment.
  • Customize desktop configurations to meet user and organizational requirements.
  • Package and coordinate transport of IT equipment to and from branch offices.

Operational Support

  • Respond to escalated issues from the Service Desk.
  • Perform user account administration including Active Directory password resets.
  • Provide support for software and data recovery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity issues and hardware/software problems.
  • Utilize deployment tools for OS configuration and installation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of hardware and software assets.

End User Engagement

  • Train and guide end users on basic software and hardware operations.
  • Maintain professionalism and a customer-focused attitude under pressure.
  • Take ownership of assigned issues and ensure resolution and user satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 8/10 and Microsoft Office 2016/365.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Outlook, and remote support tools.
  • Proficient in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of current operating systems, protocols, and standards.
  • Familiarity with standard organizational software applications.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Desktop Support Technician (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
  • Time management and multitasking skills in a high-paced environment.
  • Willing to work both Makati and Sucat Paranaque.
