The Legal Counsel will support the management of the Intellectual Property portfolio and Intellectual Property cases of the Jollibee Group, and the handling of digital and privacy matters, as may be assigned by the General Counsel, IP, Digital, & Privacy Global, and Legal Business Partner, Global and Philippines.

The Legal Counsel will also handle a broad range of legal requirements of his/her assigned brands and support functions/services within the Jollibee Group, in addition to intellectual property, digital, privacy matters.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Area

  • Manage legal practice area globally based on specific assignments and projects.

Account Legal Management

  • Provide legal support to operations and projects of Business Unit (BU)/Support Services/Functions based on specific assignments and projects.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor.
  • Must be a Member of the Philippine Bar.
  • Preferably at least 3 years in the practice of law.
  • At least 1 year of experience in handling intellectual property matters including:
  • Management of trademark portfolio/trademark prosecution.
  • Management of trademark litigation cases
  • Handling of copyright and trade secret issues handling of IP commercialization (licensing) activities.
  • Experience in privacy and/or digital matters.
  • Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup)

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Reasonable judgment based on current law and jurisprudence.
  • Initiative and ability to execute instructions with minimal supervision.
