The
Legal Counsel
under the Office of the Corporate Secretary is responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the Company's Corporate Secretariat, Management, and Board of Directors. In this role the Legal Counsel may be required to:

  • Draft and review corporate governance policies, charters, and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide legal advice on matters related to corporate structure, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to the Company's business operations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the Company.
  • Represent the Company in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution processes.
  • Advise the corporate secretary on matters related to board and committee meetings, including drafting meeting minutes and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal and compliance team to ensure coordination and consistency in legal advice and guidance provided to the company.

Qualifications:

  • Admission to the Philippine Bar
  • With at least 3 years work experience as a lawyer
