JOB SUMMARY: Assist and support the Legal and Compliance Department in various tasks, including processing and handling legal documents, organizing contracts and documents, conducting legal research, and maintaining and organizing files.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform general administrative support and paralegal duties for the Legal team;
  • Perform various administrative duties, including scheduling of meetings, document preparation, correspondence, expense reporting, and goal tracking;
  • Maintain files and records, including both paper and electronic files through outlook drive, monitoring of trackers for the Holding Company and its subsidiaries;
  • Preparing and filing documents with Philippine government offices and agencies;
  • Draft, track, issue, and file contracts and correspondences;
  • Supporting compliance initiatives such as maintaining registers, records of processing activities, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure records are complete and liaising with service providers to ensure contracts are in place;
  • Provide assistance to the Senior Counsels in all regulatory and compliance, including renewal of necessary permits and licenses; and
  • Other project work as the need arises from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a reputable law school is required, with a strong foundation in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions.
  • Must be willing to work in Ortigas.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience as a paralegal, preferably from a reputable private practice firm or an in-house legal department.
  • Strong ability to learn and adapt to processes and approaches specific to the Energy Industry.
  • Demonstrated capability in driving process improvements and working in a process-oriented environment.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and skilled in time management, with a focus on solving challenges efficiently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders while maintaining employee confidentiality, and ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering timely results in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
