About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer (Level 3) with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft enterprise technologies to join our growing Infrastructure team. This hybrid position requires working onsite three days a week and is ideal for a highly motivated professional who can lead Azure-based initiatives, troubleshoot complex systems, and mentor junior engineers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Level 3 escalations related to Microsoft systems and cloud services.
  • Optimize system performance and reliability for on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Lead Azure migration and modernization efforts across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application hosting, networking, and identity management.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to L1 and L2 engineers.

Technical Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
  • Expert-level knowledge in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, automation).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with Azure AD, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and M365 services.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell or other automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and networking (VPNs, firewalls, routing).
  • Exposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform) is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Relevant certifications strongly preferred:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • ITIL, MCSA, or similar certifications are a plus.
