We're Hiring: Purchasing OfficerLocation: Cebu City Project SitesIndustry: Construction | Procurement & Supply ChainWe are looking for a Purchasing Officer who will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring quality materials, tools, and equipment essential for our construction projects. The successful candidate must have proven experience in construction, hardware, or related industries, with strong vendor management and cost-control skills.This role is vital in ensuring timely procurement, cost efficiency, and smooth project operations.Key Responsibilities (Core Functions):Procurement & Sourcing – Source, evaluate, and procure materials, tools, and equipment required for project sites while ensuring best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.Vendor & Supplier Management – Build and maintain relationships with trusted suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure vendor compliance with company standards.Documentation & Coordination – Ensure complete and accurate purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and coordinate closely with warehouse, site engineers, and project managers.Core Competencies:Graduate of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory coordination.Familiarity with construction materials, hardware items, and equipment sourcing.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or procurement software.Core Values:Integrity & Transparency – Upholding honesty and fairness in all procurement transactions.Efficiency & Accountability – Delivering cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.Collaboration & Professionalism – Building strong partnerships with suppliers and project teams.Key Result Areas (KRAs):Timely sourcing and procurement of required project materials.Maintaining strong vendor relationships and expanding supplier networks.Compliance with procurement processes and company standards.Accurate documentation and reporting of purchase transactions.Contribution to cost control and savings initiatives.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):On-time delivery of purchased materials (target: 100%).Procurement cost savings achieved vs. budget (target: ≥5%).Accuracy rate of purchase orders and documentation (>98%).Supplier performance rating based on delivery, quality, and compliance (>90%).Zero project delays due to procurement issues.Qualifications:Graduate of Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering-related course.Minimum 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience in construction, hardware, or related industries.Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment.Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.Willing to be assigned to Cebu City project sites.Interested applicants may send their updated CV to Be part of our team that ensures strategic procurement, efficiency, and reliability in every construction project.
