Purchasing Officer – Construction Industry

Engineering Graduates Preferred

Location: Cebu City

We are urgently looking for a Purchasing Officer with a strong background in the construction industry. This role is ideal for Engineering graduates who have solid experience in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management for construction materials, equipment, and services.

If you are detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in balancing cost, quality, and timeliness, this is your opportunity to play a key role in driving our projects forward.

Core Functions
  • Procurement & Sourcing – Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective and high-quality construction materials and equipment.
  • Cost & Budget Management – Ensure purchases are aligned with project budgets and provide accurate cost forecasts.
  • Vendor Management – Develop strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with delivery timelines.
  • Purchase Documentation – Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and documentation with 100% accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordination with Project Teams – Work closely with engineers, project managers, and warehouse officers to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
  • Market Research – Continuously monitor market trends and material pricing for strategic purchasing decisions.

  1. Cost Savings – Achieve 5–10% cost efficiency in procurement without compromising quality.
  2. On-Time Deliveries – Ensure 95%+ on-time delivery of purchased materials and equipment.
  3. Vendor Reliability – Maintain a database of qualified and reliable suppliers with at least 90% positive performance rating.
  4. Budget Compliance – Keep purchase variances within ±3% of project budgets.
  5. Process Efficiency – Ensure 100% compliance with procurement policies and documentation standards.

  • Excellent negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier evaluation skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in procurement documentation.
