The IMS Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving the company's Integrated Management System across our distribution network, terminal, convenience retail, and head office operations. This includes ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO Environmental Management), and ISO Occupational Health & Safety), as well as all applicable legal and regulatory requirements within the downstream petroleum sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards across all business units.
  • Assist in the conduct of regular audits, inspections, and gap analyses at depots, retail stations, and administrative offices to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain IMS documentation, including policies, procedures, manuals, SOPs, and records.
  • Track and manage non-conformities, incidents, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation, execution, and follow-up.
  • Facilitate regular training and awareness programs for employees and contractors on IMS-related topics.
  • Work closely with terminal and station managers to ensure operational compliance and promote a culture of safety and quality.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory changes related to petroleum marketing and distribution, and update relevant systems accordingly.
  • Prepare IMS performance reports, dashboards, and management review documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an IMS, QHSE, or compliance role, preferably within the downstream oil and gas sector (fuel depots, retail stations, logistics, etc.).
  • Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of downstream petroleum operations and applicable industry regulations.
  • Experience with document control systems and audit software tools.
