OVERVIEW

  • Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Staff for our Machinery Division in the Philippines.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting industrial machinery and equipment to both local and Japanese manufacturing clients, preparing quotations, coordinating orders, managing payments, and maintaining long-term business relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify potential customers through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Handle order processing between clients and the Japan Head Office, including quotation, purchase order (PO), and delivery coordination.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and other related billing documents.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery and payment processing.
  • Monitor and follow up on customer payment schedules and due dates.
  • Maintain accurate filing and documentation of all business transactions.
  • Communicate effectively in English with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide regular market feedback to management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in sales or customer relations.
  • Hands-on experience in order processing, quotation preparation, and billing procedures.
  • Preferably with experience in a trading or manufacturing company.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work under minimal supervision.
  • Possesses a proactive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and good teamwork skills.
  • Can speak, understand, and write the Japanese language; possession of a JLPT certificate is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel locally or internationally as required by business needs.

Working Conditions

  • Onsite (Office is in Ayala Ave., Makati)
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
