SKILLS AND QULIFICATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role, with preference for experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with engineering materials and components is often required
  • Ability to analyze data, such as cost comparisons and market trends, and to resolve issues with suppliers or orders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple orders and deadlines
  • Software Proficiency

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for sourcing and acquiring materials, components, and services needed for engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Key duties include evaluating requisitions, researching and negotiating with suppliers, placing orders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring all purchases align with technical specifications and project goals.
