Role Summary

The Graphic Artist supports Biohack Yourself's visual identity and marketing initiatives by conceptualizing and producing high-quality creative materials across all platforms. This role involves designing graphics for social media, websites, digital campaigns, print materials, video thumbnails, product visuals, GIFs, and motion-driven assets. The Graphic Artist works closely with the management, marketing, and editorial teams to translate ideas into compelling visuals, maintain brand consistency, and contribute to the overall creative direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Production

• Develop visually compelling graphics for social media, posters, thumbnails, web banners, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
• Create digital assets such as GIFs and simple motion-based graphics for brand content.
• Conceptualize and design cohesive visual systems for multi-platform campaigns.
• Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
• Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to translate concepts into polished creative outputs.
• Adapt existing assets into various formats depending on the platform or campaign needs.
• Create reusable templates and design systems the team can use across future campaigns and projects.

Technical Execution

• Use Adobe Photoshop at an advanced level for detailed retouching, graphic design, and asset manipulation. Canva knowledge is also required.
• Work with additional tools such as Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, or similar programs for GIFs, graphics, and multimedia assets is a big plus.
• Optimize files for both digital and print use.
• Prepare production-ready artwork as needed for campaigns, merchandise, or print materials.
• Troubleshoot design-related technical issues and ensure all creative files are properly organized and archived.

Brand Quality & Visual Consistency

• Maintain high standards of visual clarity, composition, and aesthetic accuracy across all creative outputs.
• Ensure all designs align with brand tone, visual strategy, and creative guidelines.
• Review and refine visual materials to uphold quality and consistency.
• Flag potential design or brand alignment concerns to the marketing and creative leads.
• Assist in updating and improving brand style guides, templates, and creative libraries.

Collaboration & Workflow Support

• Support cross-functional teams by providing timely design assets for editorial features, partnerships, social media, paid campaigns, and events.
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate concepts and visual ideas.
• Coordinate with marketing and editorial teams to keep content production timelines on track.
• Provide flexible creative assistance across departments when visual support is needed.

Expectations

• Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Canva, and strong proficiency in professional design tools.
• Ability to produce high-quality graphics, motion assets, and GIFs with quick turnaround times.
• Strong creative intuition and attention to detail in layout, typography, color, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple design requests while meeting deadlines.
• Proactive in identifying visual opportunities or improvements for the brand.
• Comfortable receiving and applying feedback in collaborative workflows.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
