What is your mission?

We are looking for a highly analytical and tech-driven Assistant Financial Controller to lead multi-entity financial operations, consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, fund reporting, treasury, internal controls, and automation initiatives. You will champion AI-enabled processes, streamline financial workflows, and guide a growing accounting team while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and real-time insights across the business.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Lead multi-entity financial reporting, consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and GAAP compliance.
  • Manage monthly/quarterly/year-end close and improve close timelines through automation and process redesign.
  • Analyze revenues, margins, and operating performance using dashboards and advanced analytics.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling using AI-driven tools.
  • Implement cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury oversight.
  • Oversee fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
  • Streamline audit coordination, internal controls, and compliance processes.
  • Optimize accounting systems (Sage Intacct, Yardi) and lead AI/LLM-driven automation initiatives.
  • Build data pipelines with IT, ensuring real-time reporting and data integrity.
  • Mentor and lead an accounting team focused on accuracy, automation, and continuous improvement.
Who are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related course.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, controllership, or financial management (multi-entity experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and consolidations.
  • Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct, Yardi, or similar ERP/accounting platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reconciliations, financial models).
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with fund accounting, investor reporting, or project-based financial structures.
  • Experience implementing automation/AI tools, dashboards, RPA, or workflow optimization.
  • Background in treasury management, cash flow forecasting, or debt covenant compliance is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with leadership teams.
  • Tech-forward mindset; comfortable learning new systems and driving automation initiatives.
