Are you a skilled finance professional with a passion for data analysis and reporting? Do you have strong SQL expertise and the ability to deliver actionable insights from complex data sets? We are looking for a Financial Reporting Controller to join our team and take charge of our financial reporting and data analysis processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, analysis, and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data from various systems and databases.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting by applying strong attention to detail and effective controls.
  • Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports to present financial performance, key metrics, and trends.
  • Collaborate with senior management and other departments to support decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Manage the preparation of internal and external financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing reports and analysis to help drive financial strategies.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and assist with special projects as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, accounting, or data analysis. Experience in a corporate finance or accounting environment is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, extracting, and analyzing large data sets from relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Excellent ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy in data handling and reporting
