Schedule: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM PHT
Holidays: UK Holidays
Salary: Php 55,000.00 – Php 70,000.00

They are growing their support team to support their Financial Advisors in the Australasia region.
Job Description – UK Tax Assistant
Responsibilities
As a UK Tax Assistant, your role will combine administrative support with technical tax responsibilities, including:
Tax Support
• Assisting with the preparation and filing of UK tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies.
• Supporting senior tax advisors with tax computations, reconciliations, and client deliverables.
• Assisting in tax-related research, drafting technical notes, and preparing client correspondence.
• Monitoring tax deadlines and ensuring timely submission of returns and payments.
• Liaising with HMRC, clients, and external stakeholders to resolve queries efficiently.
Administrative & Compliance Support
• Acting as the primary administrative point of contact for advisors, including managing calendars, meetings, and email correspondence.
• Maintaining and updating client data accurately and ensuring compliance with HMRC and company procedures.
• Coordinating internal workflow, managing deadlines, and liaising between team members and external partners.
• Assisting with client onboarding, documentation collation, and ensuring regulatory requirements such as KYC/AML are met.
• Preparing meeting agendas, taking notes, and following up on agreed actions.
• Maintaining confidential records, version control of client files, and supporting internal audits.
• Managing mail, inboxes, and other correspondence channels.
• Preparing paperwork and file notes from attending meetings (including virtual meetings) in the background.
• Providing customer/client support services and handling routine queries.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a UK tax, accounting, or financial services support role.
• Knowledge of financial processes from the UK and HMRC filing procedures.
• Experience in administrative or Executive Assistant (EA) tasks within a professional services environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft client-ready documents.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with tax software is advantageous.
• Experience with CRM systems or workflow tools (e.g., Xplan, HubSpot, or similar) desirable.
• Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Finance, Accounting, or Tax-related qualification (s)
