We are currently seeking a talented Tax Accountant to join our team and work with one of our Australian clients.

This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, strong initiative, and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently in a remote or hybrid setup.  

In this role, you will:

  • Preparation of taxation returns for individuals, companies and trust
  • Month-end financial accounting procedures
  • Year-end financial accounting procedures
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly business activity statements (BAS/IAS)
  • Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) Returns
  • Completion of bookkeeping requirements for client's needs
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Coding of transactions

We're looking for someone Who has:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as Tax Accountant or general Australian accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Team player
  • Willing to learn and expand their knowledge, motivated by continuous improvement

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, etc)

Non-Negotiables:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Applicants must be willing to work onsite in Clark Freeport Zone.
