Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all tax filings, financial statements, BAS/IAS, and tax planning documents adhere to the latest Australian tax laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate whether internal procedures and standards are being followed, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of documents for accuracy, presentation, and overall quality before submission.
  • Centralize the review process, allowing the broader team to concentrate on increasing throughput and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
  • Extensive experience in tax review, quality control, or a supervisory role within an Australian accounting firm.
  • Deep understanding of Australian tax regulations, financial statement preparation, BAS/IAS, and tax planning.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to manage multiple review processes simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience working in a review/quality control capacity within an Australian firm.
  • Familiarity with the latest accounting software and tools used in the Australian market.

Work Setup:

  • Permanent WFH
  • Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
