Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and Activity Statements for clients in compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to data entry, reconciliations, and financial statement preparations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and Australian tax laws.

Qualification and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 – 4 years of experience in Business Services accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
