Our client is a boutique Australian residential building company seeking a skilled Residential Construction Project Coordinator to assist with project administration, estimating support, documentation, and coordination.

This role suits someone with background experience in estimating, drafting and residential project management, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Bookkeeping and familiarity with PX360 construction software are desirable but not essential.

Key responsibilities

This role supports the director and site team in managing residential construction projects, including tasks such as:

·       Preparing and tracking variations, budgets, and project documentation

·       Assisting with estimating and obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotes

·       Maintaining project schedules, time tracking, and progress reports

·       Coordinating and following up with suppliers for pricing and delivery updates

·       Managing project files, drawings, and revision logs

·       Supporting communication with clients and internal team members

Job requirements

·       Minimum 3 years' experience in residential construction, estimating, drafting, or project administration

·       Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other similar qualification

·       Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and document management tools

·       Good, consistent internet access and a computer

·       Excellent written and verbal communication (English)

Desirable Skills (Bonus)

·       Experience with PX360 or similar project management software

·       Architectural drafting or basic CAD knowledge.

·       Understanding of Australian construction processes

·       Bookkeeping or data entry experience using Xero
