Overview

We are looking for an Architect who can both design and remotely manage projects from start to finish. This role combines hands-on architectural design with project oversight, ensuring that the vision created in the design phase is carried through seamlessly to construction and completion. The ideal candidate will develop concepts, prepare drawings, and collaborate with clients and site-based personnel while also managing budgets, schedules, and construction progress.

Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: Php 60,000-63,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST, with a 1-hour unpaid break

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates, depending on performance during the application process.

Responsibilities

Architectural Design

  • Lead the creative design process for high-end residential projects.
  • Translate client needs into innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling designs.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using Revit (BIM experience strongly preferred).
  • Ensure design quality and intent are preserved during construction.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications; conduct remote meetings with building officials to resolve comments and submit revised design packages.

Project Management

  • Oversee projects from concept through construction and handover.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Monitor construction progress through daily videos and reports; resolve issues and ensure adherence to design.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to maintain project alignment.

Client Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the design phase and support onsite project management during execution.
  • Prepare design presentations and coordinate progress updates.
  • Incorporate feedback while maintaining design integrity and project feasibility.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure designs and construction comply with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain high quality across all phases of design and construction delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture; licensed Architect preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and managing USA-based residential projects (luxury/custom home experience is a plus).
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related design tools (BIM experience strongly preferred).
  • Must be willing to work with time tracking tools.
  • Proven ability to manage both design and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
