Cook's Job Description:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standard
  • Manage and maintain a specific station within the kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency of all dishes.
  • Ensure all food preparation, handling, and storage practices comply with high standards of sanitation, safety, and hygiene.
  • Monitor inventory levels for the assigned station, communicate shortages, and assist with receiving and storing supplies.
  • Work as an effective part of the kitchen team during service to ensure timely and accurate execution of orders, especially during high-volume periods.

Cook's Job Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably in a FINE DINING or high-volume, quality-focused restaurant kitchen.
  • Fresh culinary graduate is welcome, with FINE DINING experience or externship/apprenticeship being a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced culinary techniques, station maintenance (mise en place), and professional kitchen equipment operation.
  • Ability to work long hours + overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to stand for extended periods.
