HEAD LINE COOK

Lead the line. Serve with excellence.

We're looking for a Head Line Cook who can balance hands-on cooking with leadership — ensuring every dish meets high-quality standards while guiding the kitchen team toward excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

Supervision & Leadership

  • Oversee and delegate tasks to line cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Lead and train junior staff on cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
  • Monitor team performance to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Step in for the Head Chef or Sous Chef when necessary

Kitchen Operations

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
  • Ensure all cooking stations are properly set up, stocked, and maintained throughout service
  • Expedite orders and ensure timely, accurate, and consistent plating
  • Oversee food rotation and minimize waste in daily operations

Quality & Safety

  • Enforce strict food sanitation and hygiene standards at all times
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure every dish meets taste and presentation standards
  • Inspect delivered supplies and monitor kitchen cleanliness

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Assist the Sous Chef in tracking food inventory and supplies
  • Monitor ingredient levels and communicate shortages promptly
  • Help receive, check, and organize incoming deliveries

Other Duties

  • Participate in kitchen opening and closing procedures
  • Assist with catering events and major cleaning schedules
  • Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to management

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or Senior Cook, preferably with leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of food preparation, safety, and sanitation
  • Ability to manage multiple kitchen stations efficiently
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills
  • Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced food stall environment
